The Coalition of the Red Star (Chinese: 红星联盟, Pinyin: Hóngxīng Liánméng; Russian: Коалиция Красной Звезды, transliteration: Koalicija Krasnoj Zvezdy, IPA: [kɐɐˈlʲit͡sɨjə ˈkrasnəj zvʲɪzˈdɨ]), also spelled the Red Star Coalition, is a major force during World War III and one of the two central antagonist forces in When the Cold Breeze Blows Away, along with the terrorist-based Global Liberation Union. Whereas the Grand Alliance is based on what was the NATO, the EU, the ASEAN, and many others, the Coalition of the Red Star is based on the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the Collective Security Treaty Organization, and many others, and was officially established weeks before the Third World War.
During the war, it created the Coalition of the Red Star Joint Military, which was the reason why the Grand Alliance created the Grand Alliance Joint Military.

Government[]
The Coalition itself[]
In one way or another, the Coalition of the Red Star is a near-autocratic military junta (with some democratic elements implemented later towards the late events of World War III) led by the Supreme Leader; a self-appointed position with near-absolute power and merely ultimate authority over all political and military matters of state. Aiding the Supreme Leader is the Supreme Chairperson, who is the head of government that oversees day-to-day affairs of the Coalition and acts on behalf of the Supreme Leader when the latter is absent or incapacitated. Freedom of speech is almost strictly limited, yet dissidents were subjected to light-to-harsh persecution, along with punishing disloyalty with executions or imprisonment, depending on how severe it could be (unless they can promise they won't do that again, as ordered by Victor Nevarez due to his fears that the mistakes of Sheev Palpatine would be repeated).
Due to the Supreme Leader's status in the Coalition, an officer who had direct access to his person effectively wielded greater authority than their military rank would indicate. It is also the prerogative of the Supreme Leader to summon his subordinates at his pleasure, as well as to administer punishment to those who failed him, mainly to execute only the most evil subordinates and/or generals whose crime had done to innocent people (again, due to Nevarez's will to avoid Palpatine's pure evil deeds).
According to the introduction to the official field manual for the Coalition's military forces, this is because the Coalition aimed and celebrated one ruler, code of law, common tongue, and education in social progress, and wanted to ensure unity, and most of all, to stay true to their motto; "conservatism through passion."
In later World War III events to the very end, the Coalition would try to desperately copy the more democratic (and/or tolerant, if not democratic) laws of the Grand Alliance to hope that they can turn the tides of the war in their favor with ease.
Society[]
Their society was complexed and varied per member, but it wasn't unified until the Ultimate Socialism Act is enacted. Its ideologies focuses too much on socialism, and for example, Fegelein's Nazism is separate from fascism, while Richard Loud III's ideology focuses on capitalism being separate from democracy, and yet it fuses capitalism with socialism and totalitarianism as well.
Technology[]
The Coalition of the Red Star has a diversive ranch of technology from them, which includes from 1950s Soviet Union to the futuristic Galactic Empire, all the way to the almost god-like Empire of the Combine Race.
